I think a little genie escaped while I was painting this one… and honestly, I’m not sure if he ever went back into the bottle.
The swirls started appearing one after another, almost like smoke moving through the air. The more I added, the more it felt like something powerful was hiding The purple, gold, and white colours create this feeling of magic and mystery. The golden details remind me of hidden treasures, wishes, and something precious waiting to be discovered, while the deep shadows make it feel like the genie is slowly revealing himself from another world.
I love when abstract paintings start creating their own stories. You begin with an idea, but then the painting almost starts talking back and showing you what it wants to become.
