This painting came from a very simple but strong image in my mind — something alive growing in complete darkness. On a black background, I built abstract grassy, leafy forms in green and bluish tones, like vegetation that somehow exists in space, in the middle of nothingness.
For me, it feels like quiet resilience. Life appearing where it’s not expected, not announced, just happening anyway. The shapes are not perfect or controlled — they move freely, like they are adapting to an environment that doesn’t fully support them, and still continuing to grow.
The green brings a sense of life, renewal, and natural instinct, while the blue adds a more cosmic, distant feeling — like this growth is not only earthly, but something universal.
Symbolically, it’s about persistence. About life pushing through even in conditions that feel empty or unknown. In feng shui, greenery is often connected with growth, healing, and renewal of energy, and here it exists even in darkness, which for me makes it even more powerful.
I like this idea that even in the most quiet, dark spaces, something can still be forming, still moving, still alive.
